Topsham Udder Tuggers’ #93 Jerod Verrill has been named a 2026 Pine Tree League River Division Gold Glove Award winner after an outstanding defensive season.
Verrill showcased his versatility throughout the year, splitting time between catcher and third base, two of the most demanding positions on the field. Across 12 regular-season games, he posted an impressive .957 fielding percentage.
His work behind the plate was particularly strong. Verrill caught more than 40 innings without allowing a single passed ball and threw out 18.18% of would-be base stealers.
The Gold Glove adds another individual honor to the Udder Tuggers’ 2026 season and recognizes Verrill as one of the River Division’s top defensive players.
Congratulations to #93 Jerod Verrill on a well-earned Gold Glove!
